I am a Texas State University alum. I hold a B.S. in Digital Media Innovations with a minor in studio art and a B.F.A. in Communication Design with a minor in Journalism. These areas represent my combined passions, from being a tech-savvy coding enthusiast to creatively expressing myself through studio art, and from always listening to or sharing someone else's story in journalism and publishing, to working with picas, grids, and typography in design. These aspects contribute to my professional life, shaping who I am in my career. I'm an art teacher by day and a design wizard by night. I'm a kid at heart, eager to do crafts, teach, or share joy with the kids around me in my classroom. They inspire me every day. I also love sticky notes, lists, and having a nice set of colorful pens ready to create the next layout or sketch for my ideas. I’m always open to new growth opportunities; I believe in the importance of lifelong learning.
